A downloadable Gravitational Cycle for Windows

This project was done for the weekly game jam 155. I hope you like it. I'm still learning so I would love to hear your feedback, and if the game can be developed to be something bigger and much much better.

Thanks to John_Haddad for the awesome music!

Really cool idea for the theme, the art style is really nice, it would be nice if there is a sense of danger where i could not touch, like an electric animation

thank you so much for the feedback and I'm glad you liked the idea! I also think death is sudden and I will be updating the game to make it more forgiving and maybe add indicators such as spikes or animations to make the experience hopefully better

Nice mechanic, and cool art style :)

I think it would be more forgiving if you lost health / etc. when you tough the wrong sides- I did end up dying a lot and could have done with a few second chances :D

Thank you so much for the feedback and I'm really happy you enjoyed it! Next time I'll make sure to implement a health system where the light reduces abit faster when colliding with the wrong sides and add checkpoints for easier maneuver through the level

I enjoyed the gameplay and the art style.

When you switch gravity, you still hold the inertia from say falling in your previous orientation. I don’t know if this was a feature or a bug.

All the best :)

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I had 2 ideas, to make the rotation cancel all forces and one that keeps them. The game was a bit easy when the rotation is still and I wanted to make it more challenging so you can speed run through the levels if that's your style of gameplay but next time I'll work more on the code to reduce the force from the previous rotation to make it less buggy, again thank you so much for your feedback
